Snake Handling Courses

THE COURSE
This one day course is designed for people who would like or need to know how to remove reptiles, namely snakes, from dwellings safely. Then relocate them properly back into their bush environment.

Successful participants receive a certificate that is recognized by Dept. Parks and Wildlife and private companies as a qualification for a snake/reptile removalist.

Subjects covered:

Psychology of fear
Legal responsibilities
First aid treatment
Catching equipment/dress code
Holding containers/bags
Correct catching techniques
Live snake-catching scenarios

We use live pythons, death adders, king browns, tiger snakes, dugites and gwardars for the training and provide plenty of practice so that you feel completely confident by the end of the course.
